Practice Exchange · Confidential
Sell, buy or hand over your practice to someone you already trust
Thinking about retiring, slowing down, selling a block of clients or growing by acquisition? Register confidentially, and we will introduce you to members who are a good fit. Often the best buyer is a colleague you have already worked with as your backup.
What you can register for
Five ways to use the register
Sell your practice
Find a buyer who shares your values and will look after your clients the way you have.
Sell a block of clients
Hand over part of your client base, such as a discipline you no longer want to offer.
Buy or grow
Let members know you are looking to buy a practice or a block of clients in your area or discipline.
Plan succession
Agree in advance who will take over if you retire, become unwell or die, so your clients and your family are protected. You can give your backup practitioner the first right to buy.
Merge or join forces
Explore combining with a like-minded sole practitioner while keeping what matters to you.
How it works
Confidential from start to finish
Register confidentially
Only the association sees your details. We never publish your name or your clients.
We make a quiet introduction
We tell you about suitable members, without names, and introduce you only when both sides agree.
Sign a confidentiality agreement
Before any client information is shared, both sides sign a confidentiality agreement.
Do the deal with your own advisers
Price, terms and handover are agreed between you, with your own lawyer and accountant. We do not value practices or negotiate, but if you need a valuation we can refer you to an independent accounting firm.
